Hunting License - (Small game, State & Federal Waterfowl Stamps, HIP Certification, Special Season Permit for Early Season, See License Section for more details)
- Shotgun – 20,12,or 10Gauge, capable of holding 3 shells maximum (Plug must be in place if required)
- Ammunition – 1’s, BB,BBB size Steel or Non Toxic Shot.
- Clothing – Warm, Waterproof outer layer and boots ( Waterfowl or woodland non-reflective Camo, White with snow cover. Avoid all Orange, Red from head to toe)
- Food & Drink – Alcoholic Beverages are prohibited during the hunt and in the field.
- Calls & Flags – If you are skilled in their use or would like to learn.
- Ground Blind – If you are doing a layout blind hunt and you would like to hunt in your own.
- Retrievers – If your Dog Hunts and will not be distraction/disruption during the hunt.
- Garbage bags – Large and heavy ml bags are handy to keep your vehicle clean when transporting your birds home.
- Chair – We generally sit on 5 Gallon buckets when hunting a pit, if that does not work for you bring a comfortable chair (space is limited)
- Payment – Cash or check made out to Broken Wing Hunt Club
- Vehicle – Any 4WD is recommended, otherwise we can get you into the field.
