Full body decoys are the decoy of choice, flocked, some motion and some static in the right portions and placement. We do not leave our decoys in the field and the numbers vary based on the time of year and conditions. We may start a season using 60-100 in a field and end up using 400-500 full bodies in a field. During periods when there are very stale birds we do use other decoys such as large shells, black and white shadows, and V-boards to give the birds a different look.
